Highschool can be hectic but add in powers and it can get down right chaotic. Mutants. They have been surfacing all across the globe as the rare few amongst billions to have the X-Gene awakened within them. They are so rare in fact that most of the world's population does not know of their existence. In fact, there are some Mutants that do not even know what they are. Why they are the way they are. Those that do know, keep their powers and what they are, under wraps. We'll see how that works out....

Mutants. The name given to those that have abilities that humans are generally not born with. Where once this defect was rare, it is now on a dramatic increase. There are more and more mutants appearing and the human race aren't particularly liking it.
Some humans are so dead set against mutants that they attack them in the streets. While some are trying the political angle and are trying to arrange to ship the mutants out to a colony away from normal human living areas. There are a small amount of humans that aren't bothered and are mutant friendly, but there aren't many.
The mutants are having similar issues. Many are going with the idea that humans and mutant can co-exist together and work hard to try to get it to happen. While an even greater number for a number of different reasons are against humans, thinking that the increasing numbers of mutants is a sign that mutants will become superior to humans, and they are the rightful ones to inherit the earth. Some of these are excessively violent and will use their abilities to try and gain control, and even kill humans.
Then there are those which do not see either points of view, and would rather stay out the way. To stay as a neutral factor and just take it as it comes. One of these places is called Paradise Manor, and it's doors are open to those that either need a place to stay, or those that need help in controlling their abilities, but without the politics attached. All they want to do is just live their lives.

Wanda smirked as she climbed in and put the key in the ignition as he hopped into the passenger seat, and she turned the key and put it into gear and pushed the gas nearly to the floor, which would be more then enough answer to Toads question about what she meant by fast, as the car speed down the driveway, at close to 60mph.
Which as she neared the gates, that were opening rather slowly, and she did not want to scratch her car, so she used a tiny portion of her powers to push the gates open a bit faster, and they the car just barely passed the heavy gates, by no more then half an inch at most, and she used more of her powers to make them close back to normal, and she turned quickly onto the highway.
"Remember to keep all hands, feet, and Tongues inside the car at all times" she said with a bit of a smirk, as she once again floored the gas.

Now this is a question we must all ask ourselves. why, because we are mutants." [/align] [align=left]2,000 years in the future a virus is created by a terrorist named Stryfe. This virus came in two forms but now had mutated into a third version, all three are airborne agents. Legacy-1 and Legacy-2 searched for a target organism's "X-factor", the sequence of mutant genes that gave a mutant his/her superpowers. If it did not find an activated X-factor in the target, the viroid would die off, leaving the person completely unaffected. If, however, it did detect the X-factor, it would begin inserting introns into the transcription codings of the victim's mutant RNA, the process commonly being triggered after the patient used their powers for the first time after contracting the disease. The result was a major compromise of the replication and transcription process so disruptive as to eventually render the body incapable of creating healthy cells, ultimately resulting in the death of the victim. Here in the present a few years after the San Fransisco battle between the X-Men and then Brotherhood things have began to die down. Though many mutant hating groups have been organized, these people intend on tracking mutants down and killing them until not one mutant is left standing. The gorvement had once again brought up mutant registration act, to force mutants to out themselves. This alone has brought up so much chaos between then two races of humans and mutants.[/align] [align=right]Now mutant fractions are at war with another. As the marauders try and seek out the morlock tunnels so they may kill each morlock one by one. The mysterious Marauders attack a mutant and her boyfriend in Los Angeles for the purpose of following her back to New York and finding the location of the underground mutant community known as the Morlocks. The ended up killing the female mutant once back in New York and finding out where the morlock tunnels were. Waging war on the tunnels tons of Morlocks were killed along with some Marauders. But before things could get any worse the X-Men showed up trying to stop all the fighting and killing. The Marauders drew back and are now plotting their next attack on Morlocks, as the two fractions are now in the mits of war with one another. Now though a few mutants from the future traveled back to the present time some in hopes of saving the world from it's horrible future and a few to release the Legacy Virus on mutants world wide. If mutants didn't have enough going on already things are only looking more grim for their kind with each passing day as mutants have started dropping dead due to the virus.[/align] [align=left]Now mutants of all fractions have began looking for a cure to save remaining infected mutants of the Legacy Virus. During a month about 35 percent of mutants are dieing and the number only seems to grow with each month as more mutants are beginning to die. This alone has put fear in all mutants as no one knows who is next, and mutants have even started not to trust one another in fear of getting infected with the virus as being breathed on by a mutant with it will get you infected. With everything going on at once has made this world of ours become darker and more grim. Who will live? and who will die? It has been nearly 50 years since world war 4, against the mutants. Though there was a peace treaty drawn between the countries of earth and the mutants, so that they can once again live peacefully, there are those who still believe in the preservation of there pure and blue world, and wish to wipe out half of there population; the mutants.
It’s not just the mutants that they have to contend with now; the earth has reached out into space and made contact. Contact that has grown quit a lot in the last 90 years or so, there is a hand full of Residential aliens, but most are visitors to our glories city of Hevanna that wish for a peaceful stay. The peace that is so strongly protected by Hevanna’s own police squad, who work day and night to make our city the heaven it is.
Unfortunately there isn’t always peace, there is a new terrorist group forming and grows with echo day, humans and mutants are once again becoming restless with one another; blaming one another for the terrorist attacks. Treating the peace with yet another war, a war in which the humans will enviably loose.

X-Men: Eclipsing Binary is a PG-13 movieverse rpg beginning just before X2 and having a strong emphasis on writing, characterization, and plotting. We are canon-only, but accept x-characters from all three movies, including those appearing only in cameos or mentioned in the computer files.

It is the year 2010 in the Universe 62408. It bears many resemblences to the commonly known universe of 616, but not completely. The Mutant Registration Act never happened, but that doesn't mean mutants have had it easy. If anything their 616 counter-parts have it easy. M-Day never happened and the humans have been dealing with a constantly rising Mutant population. WHich now makes up roughly 51% of the population.
The Civil War did take place just like in 616. But the outcome was quite different. After making meta-humans register, they wanted the more disturbing and in their eyes, more violent mutants to go through the same process. Since the Meta-human Registration Act didn't apply to Mutants. As soon as President Tony Stark announced that a line was drawn in the sand between meta-humans and mutants. Major teams like the Avengers thinned their ranks, kicking out the mutants like Beast, Wolverine, Storm, Scarlet Witch and others. In doing so the marriage of Storm and Black Panther has ended. Mutant children of meta-humans like Franklin Richards had to be rescued by a new team of mutants.
In seeing this problem both Magneto, Mystique and Xavier agreed that something had to be done. The Brotherhood joined forces with the X-Men. In the first battle the X-Men were nearly wiped out or imprisoned. But they were saved by some unlikely allies. As they were launching a last ditch effort Captain America, Namor the Sub-Mariner, Elektra, Bullseye and several others joined the fight on behalf of the X-Men and beat them back. But all is not well as some mutants have registered and joined the Avengers side.
When the battle was over the X-Men found their numbers much lower than before. Several key members like Cyclops, Toad, Blob, Pyro, Mystique, Collossus, Shadow Cat, Rogue, Storm and Wolverine were imprisoned. WHile others were in critical condition. Having no choice they activated the reserves. Namely older students and other known mutants came to their aid.
With Xavier dead from injuries suffered in the battle and Magneto's health failing these new recruits must turn the tide. Or else the very freedom of mutants will be destroyed.
But the government isn't just using the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. Their new Sentinels have proven quite effective, especially in Mutant Town. They seek Xavier's but failed to realized, with the help of several teleporters the school, sub-basement and all has been moved. Will this secret location help them or will all of mutant-kind be wiped off he face of the Earth?
Almost 50 years ago, a war raged between homo sapiens and those with an x-gene. Mutants. It was one of the longest wars in history, almost raging 17 years long. The death tolls were high on either side, and entire cities were trapped in the fight. The Us Government felt that something had to be done and soon mutant kind was threated by extinction.
A biological weapon, known as The Artist, was designed by America's finest, and soon given out to the public. A chemical designed to target the X-gene, the Artist was absorbed by thousands of mutants and soon, only a few were left.
These last remaining few fought back, threatening the Whitehouse with it's own weapon. The Us government retaliated, deciding to create a pact with these last few mutants. A treaty was made, stating that these last mutants would be able to live in peace as long as they didn't use their powers in anything short of defending their lives. A small town known as Huntington was established and the mutants finally found what they just wanted in the first place.
11 Years passed after the creation of Huntington, and things finally lept into action. The Us Military still felt threatened, and with a new president sitting in the White House, the order was given for the army to eradicate the mutant threat. The little town of Huntington was wiped-out, leaving no trace of mutants behind. But little did they know, the mutants of Huntington had known that this day would come, and had sent their children off to a safe place. Right in the middle of New York city. calling themselves the Oathtakers, these mutants vowed to see their revenge inflicted on the homo Sapiens.
22 Years later, a lone mutant comes across the ruins of a school. The old building was covered in vines and creepers that were slowly wearing away the foundation. The young woman could barley make out the name plate that read "Xavier's Institute for the Gifted Youngsters". During the war the mutant group known as the X-men had tried to keep the peace between the mutants and the humans. Even with all their power, they were still the first victims to fall to the Artist. An idea comes to her and she creates a new group were lone mutants could fell safe. The X-Reborn.
Somewhere else, a old man with the ability to foresee the future, has a vision of a terrible group of people wielding powers that will eventually lead to a massive world wide war that would consume the planet. And they would be named the Brotherhood after their predecessors that started the war.
And deep underneath a military base, a human group known as the Seekers, searcheds for a way that will completely inahiliate mutantkind.
With mutants on the rise, will New York be able to withstand the groups that plan it's people's utter destruction?
There are no old canons allowed. We do allow grandchildren of Canons though.
We need a lot of positions to be filled. Especially the leader of the Seekers and the X-Reborn. We also need alot of X-Reborn and humans as well as brotherhood members.

The year is 1100 A.D., during a time often classified as the High Middle Ages. It is a time of magic and mysteries…some mysteries easier solved than others.
There are competing views about magic within various kingdoms. Many claim that gods and goddesses still bless their villages and towns with magic-users while larger cities tend to look more towards monotheism, generally ignoring such ‘magic-users’. What few humans realize is that these ‘magic users’ are actually mutants.
There is a mostly mutant group that has remained quiet for years, known as the Fanallan. Now that monotheism is obtaining a strangle-hold on the world, causing crusades and torture for mutants everywhere, the Fanallan are finally stepping forward to try to achieve equal rights for the “blessed”. This group is made up of ordinary people, from the lowest muckraker to the highest clergymen, some mutant some human. They have three main headquarters in Egypt, China, and Brazil.
In retaliation to the Fanallan, the churches and monarchy have made strikes against mutants, calling their group the Allegiance. Their main bases are set up in France, Russia and Saudi Arabia.
So whom will you join? The mutants trying to fight against genocide? The humans trying to create it? Or will you be neutral or a double agent?

2016…
……Ten years have passed since the infamous accounts on Alcatraz Island. Many lives were lost on that day, lives that will always be remembered, always be cherished, and always be feared. The ‘cure’, which was to be the turning point of the mutant community, was distributed for months after the events in clinics and hospitals around the globe. Thousands upon thousands of nature’s choice to be different lined up and took the serum. An uproar in the Brotherhood with the loss of both Mystique and Magneto put a young John Allerdyce in charge. The Xavier Institute although adamant about keeping their doors open to anyone who wanted to bring themselves to learn about their mutation and survive without the cure, struggled emotionally with the loss of three very important members. The pain of losing Jean Grey, Scott Summers, and Charles Xavier was too much for the young Ororo Munroe. She left the school in search of a means of peace with the hopes of returning and taking her rightful place as headmistress of the school.
But times change and nature once again will get her revenge; for the cure was not permanent and the mutant community would grow exponentially once again. The likes of Raven Darkholme and Eric Lehnsherr were not heard from, but they were back, quietly waiting their time to return to the home they once knew. As news began to spread throughout the world of the government’s failure at creating a gene suppressing drug, it soon began to fall apart even further. The president, John Kelly, who was elected to a second term, was assassinated. The Vice President Patrick Daughty, close personal friend to Hank McCoy, took the oath of Commander and Chief, trying to regain its power once more. Failure to regain control of the people and the division of mutants with humans would become a more difficult task since now the government was deemed all but a failure in itself.
More riots and chaos slowly began to riddle the communities of Westchester and beyond while a silent new threat began his quest to become the most powerful, most served, and most admired mutant the world has even known. A genius who just keeps quiet in an underground facility, growing his army, growing his followers, while continuing his research for the perfect mutant. With Jean Grey and Scott Summers gone, an eternal hatred has grown for the healing mutant named Wolverine and the ultimate goal of this maniacal mutant will be to rid himself of him and all that threaten his dream. The geneticist is working on his own cure, one that will annihilate all mutants who stand in his way. Humans will become his toys, and he will become the most recognized name in history. And most of all retribution will be made, in the form of death.
All mutants have a choice as to where they will make their stand. It is up to each and every one of us to determine the future of generations yet to come. The School for the Gifted offers hope and a dream where mutants and humans will live together in harmony. The Brotherhood offers sanctuary, knowledge and fortitude that the human race needs to be eliminated. The Devil’s Legion offer a one way ticket to serve their king, and be granted pleasures beyond their wildest imaginations giving all that they have to a man called Sinister. The world is on the brink of yet another war, one that is going to decide the fate of both human and mutants alike……
