Jean nodded to Betsy as she helped Toad up, "Good morning, I guess we're cooking breakfast now, you interested?" She asked walking back over to check on her pan. Grabbing a bowl down she looked over, "Could you grab the eggs Remy?"

Remy glanced back, over his shoulder, from the cupboards whit a hand full of plates to set the table with. Jean's call directed his attention for a moment as she was really trying to put him to work, "Love it when y' talk dirty t' me no?" He smirked as he swaggered toward the table dropping of the plates before heading toward the refrigerator. He grabbed the eggs toad hadn't detonated and brought them to Jean. "But seriously chere, when u gon' finally 'mit you're in love wit Remy, no? Break all dis sexual tension?" He asked handing over the carton of eggs.

Betsy looked down at her lap, and looked up again not at anyone in particular. "No thanks Jean...I'm fine..." she said glaring at Remy and pausing. "Ya know mexican she would of told ya by now if she did" she said making fun of Remy and taking another sip of Orange Juice and winking at Remy and smirking with a big grin on her face.

Toad chuckled a bit at Remy's comment. Though he wasn't entirely sure how much was a joke and how much was seriousness. It was nearly impossible to tell with Remy after all. He only knew that his half smile never wiped off no matter what so...
And then Betsy chimed in, completely losing Toad.
"Wait, ain't 'e Cajun?" Toad asked with a confused glance, "Cause Oi could've sworn you were Cajun... oitha that or French Canadian. One o' the two. Though Oi was pretty sure Cajun... someone stop me from ramblin'"

"No problem mon ami," Remy jumped in to save toad from his own ramblings, as he swaggered back across the kitchen toward Betsy. He patted his green friend on the shoulder as he passed by, that smirk still locked on his lip. "Now, dats not nice Betsy. Know y'want Remy all t' y'self but come on chere, don't haft' make up lies 'bout him, no?"

"Oh please...don't make me throw up" she said rolling her eyes and giving him a pregnant dogy sarcastic smile. Walking over to Remy she stood in front of him....gave him a glare and walked over to the other side of the kitchen by Jean and sat on to of the corner leaving Remy and Toad behind her

Remy winked at Betsy as she passed, the glare was priceless and it was just too good for him to pass up. He sat where she was just a second ago, leaned back against the wall, interlocked his fingers behind his head and glanced back towards toad. "An den y'get de one's dat fight it ya? Dey make a big show 'bout not likin' de Cajun, but when dey all alone dey write pages 'bout 'im in dere dairy no?"

((Hope you don't mind ^_^. Leech is able to control his power and always refers to himself in the third person.))
Leech woke up to the smell of cooking. The little green mutant didn't like staying in bed so he got up. Dressing himself he then washed his face and then brushed his teeth. Having three fingers made it hard though. Simon, as was his real name, was dressed a blue t-shirt and jeans today. White trainers with brown streaks covered his feet. Leech didn't want to wake his friend up so he quietly exited the bedroom, and then after that, ran to the staircase.
He could hear voices now. Jean was recognisable and was Remy but the other two he wasn't so sure about. He plodded downstairs anyway, for his stomach was rumbling. He walked down the staircase and then trudged into the kitchen. "Morning all," he said. Jean and Remy were here definitely. The man with an odd accent was here too, and so was the woman with purple hair. He knew their names vaguely.

((So much for posting order! It's fine, just make sure we don't go so much that we run people right out of the thread))
Toad chorteld from his backwards sitting position on the chair. Mornings were seriously entertaining around the X-people. Usually it was all bite and no bark with the Brotherhood and...
Why did he keep on comparing that anyway? He'd lived here almost two full weeks now! He shouldn't have still been comparing it. Oh well, basic instinct he guessed.
"Pages? They pro'ally fill up 'ole diories 'bout you!" Toad joked. Definitely had to keep the big smile on though, lest he got thrown into a wall or something should someone think he was serious. That was never good.
And then a little kid... well, maybe not "little" but definitely a kid... came into the room, wishing everyone good morning. What Toad was more surprised of was that he had green skin too! Go figure. Two weeks in the place and he still didn't know everyone.
"Mornin' to you too..." Toad wished back, and then mouthed the words 'Who is he?' when the kid didn't seem to be looking.

Rogue who had just walked into the kitchen rolled her eyes.
"More like pages of how t' get rid of y', Cajun." She told him, having heard what he'd said.
Looking at the others Rogue smiled.
"Mornin' Y'all." She said.
Rogue walked over to the coffee maker and sighed in relief. Thank God someone had made a pot. Figuring that Jean must of made it, Rogue poured a glass. After adding her usual amount of cream and sugar she took a sip.
Rogue nearly dropped the glass as the liquid became a shock to her system. She began to cough. Rogue raised a hand to her mouth, this had to be the worst coffee she'd ever had. If Kitty had been in the kitchen the southerner would of sworn that she had made it.
For all that's Holy. Rogue thought, feeling as if something sacred had been messed with.
Rogue set the mug on the counter. She glanced at each one of them, suspicion flashing briefly in her eyes as she tried to silently figure out who had just tried to poison her. Coffee was like air to her in the morning and for the most part those in the mansion left the coffee making to either herself, Logan or maybe one or two other people. Coffee was a science, an art and you just didn't mess with it.

Jean shook her head, "Got busy. Well if your all up for omelets I am definitely going to need more eggs, and veggies." She flipped what she already had in the pan. "Morning Rogue, not sure if you've met everyone Simon. That's Toad, and Betsy, or Psylocke if she's in a mood." She grinned at her. "And obviously Rogue, and Gambit. Here, you can have the first omelet, then Toad. Requests better come in now or else you get what's left guys." She added putting the first on a plate and setting it on the table.

Was it gang up on Remy day, well if it was those two Remy really didn't mind. Hell he wished for it, but they might actually managed to tire the Cajun out... might.
Once again you could find Remy's mind in the gutter, he was lucky to have that kinetic static protecting his brain from psychic intrusion or Jean may have got a glimpse of that fantasy of a ménage à trois bumped up to an ménage à quatre when she asked for a any request.
Good thing because the gambler had an ungodly poker face that would never give it away otherwise. The way his eyes seemed to light up as Rogue entered the room. It was as if everyone else paled in comparison to her in his eyes. That flirtatious smirk pulling at his lips, it was the same one he always wore but somehow when it was directed at Rogue it felt like it was something more than just the same old smirk.
It felt like something special he only put on for her, even his swagger had a little more swag as he approached her, yeah he may flirt but Rogue was where his heart was at. He gave a nod good morning to Leech as he passed him on his way to Rogue. He'd let everyone else put in their orders first, the only thing he really wanted to eat wasn't on the menu anyway, "Y'alight chere. Look like Remy jus' asked y' t' swallow no?"

Betsy got glanced over at Leech and smiled at him, something she doesn't do often. She got up off the counter and looked around at everyone. "I'm going to the danger room...see ya round..and have a nice breakfast" she said waving and exiting the kitchen leaving all of them behind.

When Jean put the first omelette down and said that he could have it Leech went to table. "Thanks Jean," he said as he rose to get a fork. It smelled good and as soon as the green mutant sat back he started eating.
He waved to Toad, another green mutant. He smiled back and waved at Betsy. Rogue and Gambit pretty well. Jean was someone else that Leech knew pretty well. He finished his breakfast and put the plate and fork in the sink. "What's happening today?"

Toad winced as Rogue tasted the coffee. He made that. Honestly, he didn't think it'd turn out that bad. Not that he was any renowned chef or anything but, still. He didn't mean to do that.
Toad's face turned a deep green. "Sorry, Rogue," he apologized, "That'd be moi fault."
His mood changed immediately as he found out omelets were being served, and that he was second up. And then he found out green kid's name. Simon was it? He seemed friendly enough.
Toad grabbed his omelet and hopped to the table. "Dunno wot we're doin'," he replied, extending his tongue and...
That was weird. His tongue wasn't extendable. He tried again exhasperated. Maybe he was sick or something? So much for eating breakfast the normal way.
