Toad had been waiting outside the med lab for half an hour. It seemed like forever though. How long could brain surgery take after all? Sinister must've been operating on the Prof all day...
He slumped against the wall outside, and sprung up the minute Sinister exited the room. "Er, 'ow'd it go? Magneto sent me down 'ere to foind out..." Toad said.

Sinister exited with his head down, the 'sorry your husband didn't make it through surgery' look on his face. "It was hard." He said looking down at his hands, "Having such a beautiful mind in my hands and not being able to dissect it." A grin that could only be described as Sinister, took the man's lips a he looked at his hands as if Xavier's brain was still within his clutches. He finally looked up at toad, hands dropping to his side as his expression faded, "Evening." the sinister smirk took his lips again, the surgery went well, it was an easy job for Nathaniel, it was holding himself back that was difficult... but he wouldn't have to for much longer.

Toad looked warily to the much taller man. The sheer look that was... evil in nature... sent a cold shiver down his spine. And for Toad, who had suffered all experiences of pain and met many intimidating people, that was saying something. Not many people could do that to Toad... save Magneto.
"Evenin'. Um, wos that a 'it worked' or 'it didn't work'?" Toad asked, turning his head to one side to animate his confusion.
In truth, though Toad would never admit to it, he actually wanted the Professor to be all right. Because it would ease the tension in the mansion sooo much.

Nathaniel looked toward toad, red eyes searching over his face with a judgmental glare. There was nothing threatening about him, weak, frail, and without much presence he would make for the perfect specimen, besides there was just something so nostalgic about dissecting a frog. "The surgery was without complications naturally, but its not over yet. We'll have to wait until he awaken to know for certain if it was a success or not. In the mean time, would you like to join me for tea?"

Something about the way Sinister stared at him really put Toad on edge. It was like his eyes were literally piercing through. And it was creepy to say the least. Maybe it was the fact that they were red? If so, then Toad would have to deal with those fears. He had first hand experience dealing with odd appearances after all.
"Uh, yeah, sure. Tea sounds foine," Toad replied. Though he actually hated the stuff, which was almost contradictory to his British origin. Then again, he didn't want to come off as an a**hole in front of Sinister.

The sinister smirk was lost as he turned back to the door of the med lab. "If you please," He said opening the door, tentacles growing out of the darkness ensnaring toad and dragging him in. the sinister smirk pulling at Nathaniel's lips and his eyes flashed red, walking into the med lab behind toad, door slamming as they disappeared into the darkness.

Before Toad even had time to say 'Thanks', he found himself being ensared by tentacles around his limbs and mouth. The angered scream was muffled, and he tried to pull away. It was to no avail, the tentacles would not budge. Only move him further into the room.
A long needle came out of one, digging deeply into his arm and withdrawing a decent amount of blood. Suddenly woozy from the blood loss, Toad fell into unconciousness...
