Toad looked directly to where Kurt had indicated, only to see two people who had painted themselves their similar colors climbing the tightrope.

"All right boys, we're going to give you about 10 seconds to get off the tightrope. This is our act!" the green brother protested.

While what he said was true, Toad didn't want to give up the spotlight. He was actually liked up here. And if staying meant fighting these guys, it was worth it.

"Toad, catch," he said to his friend, tossing him the umbrella. With a smile, he said, "If zhey get cloze to grabbing you, give zhem a good vhack vizh it."

Toad rolled his eyes. "Loike Oi need an umbrella. Pre'ensoile tongue, rememba?" Toad asked, wagging it a little before shooting it out at the oncoming pair. The audience roared at the "special effects" of the "act".

Instinctively, the green one caught the tongue between his palms, it wriggled helplessly between them. "Look, we don't want you dead or anything. Just get off the tightrope, and we'll have no problems," he continued.

Toad kept trying to free his tongue, but it was no use. He was stuck.

Kurt sighed a bit as Toad's tongue was held onto, making him stuck. "Zhat'z vhy I zaid to uze zeh umbrella," he commented. Hearing the two guys, he said, "But ve don't vant to get down."

Using his tail to catch himself, he then swung under Toad and the two painted guys, grabbing the rope with his hands. Swinging up, doing a hand-stand on the tight-rope, he then landed on his feet, cheers coming from the crowd below at the amazing act going on tonight.

Behind them both now, he grabbed the blue one from behind, wrapping his arms around the man. "Don't vorry, ve don't vant you dead eizher, ve juzt vant zeh chance to be up here." With that, he fell off the edge with the blue brother, the man screaming. Within seconds, Kurt had teleported the both of them landing on the trampoline not far away. Letting go as they bounced up into the air, Kurt teleported again and landed on the tight rope with a bounce. The blue brother was still screaming as he did the second bounce and then tried to get off of it gracefully. The crowd cheered again at the 'magic' tricks going on.

"Come on, vhy don't you go help your brozher out and ve'll talk to you after zeh zhov," Kurt told the green brother, trying to reason with him.

Toad continued struggling, but his tongue was stuck fast. "Now ya tell me!" he replied to Kurt, though it was a bit muffled through the tongue. The two green ones watched as Kurt took care of the blue brother, sending him of to a trampoline nearby.

"Come on, vhy don't you go help your brozher out and ve'll talk to you after zeh zhov," Kurt told the green brother, trying to reason with him.

The green one grumbled. "Fine," he said bitterly, letting go of the Toad's tongue. "Happy?"

Toad didn't hesitate before he punched him in the face, erupting in gasps from the audience. The green brother stumbled back to the ladder in surprise from the blow. His expression was one of being somewhere between dazed and confuse.

"No, now Oi'm 'appy. You 'ave any idea 'ow much that hurts?!" Toad said.

"SECURITY!"

Immediately a group of midget clowns entered the tent...

Kurt was surprised by Toad’s reaction. As the green brother stumbled back towards the ladder, Kurt said, “Toad, you zhould be nicer…” The crowd was watching the show also confused, but entertained. They could cheer for the good parts, like half of them cheered when Toad punched the guy.

Glancing down as the man yelled for security, Kurt smirked a bit at the sight of the midgets running in. Well, it was funny. “Come on, I zhink it’z time for our great ezcape,” Kurt said as the crowd was watching with anticipation.

Well, Kurt really wouldn’t be much of an ex-circus worker if he didn’t want to entertain the crowd until the end.

Grabbing Toad’s arm with his hand, he said, “Ve’re going to go out vizh a bang, zo juzt keep up.” With that, he pulled Toad with him over the edge of the rope, using his tail to support both of them as they moved to dangle above the ground right as the midgets reached the top. “Grab on to zeh rope and zving me, ve’re going to go belov zhem,” Kurt told Toad with a smile.

“Toad, you zhould be nicer…”

"Pfft- can't teach an' old frog new tricks, mate," Toad said, rolling his eyes. It's not like he actually hurt him badly. Just whapped him in the face a little. It's not like he fell off the tightrope.

But still, there were clowns headed up the ladder. Midget clowns. Very angry, very muscled looking midget clowns. And that was a sight to behold in fear.

"Come on, I zhink it’z time for our great ezcape,” Kurt said.

"So long as it involves gettin' back our old clothes and gettin' out of 'ere, Oi'm game," Toad replied. He followed Kurt's instructions of how to get back, wrapping his tongue around the ladder and lowering the two of them down as the midgets went up.

"Run!" he cried out, as more entered the tent, hopping on top of various one's heads.

The crowd was aghast as the midgets came to take down Kurt and Toad, clapping at the escape by the two. As they ran across the floor, Kurt commented, "You knov, zhiz vaz a lot eazier vhen it'z juzt a zet up..." As they headed towards the door, the two brothers stood in their way.

Kurt grabbed Toad with his tail before hopping up, grabbing the upper bar of the tent above the door, dragging Toad along, and then landing them both on the other side, over the brother's heads. By this point, the midgets were clambering down the ladder and starting to move towards the doorway where Kurt and Toad were.
